Well, I guess I gave up the fight :-)

No, don’t look at me like that! I know that you’ve all heard saying how I can’t figure out the people who do this 24/7… Blogging, that is.
Well, I guess I couldn’t go on judging a book by its’ cover and decided to start a blog on my own just so I’ll see what’s the fuss all about. Kinda like the experience I’ve had with Facebook to which eventually I got hooked, so it’ll be interesting for me to see if it can also happen in this blog.

So who am I? I’m a woman, almost 30 (Bday on July 3rd), pretty tall (6′1″) and unfortunately haven’t accomplished much in my life – no love, no college degree, no glorious career, still living at my ol’ family house with my mom and 2 sisters – and only recently I’ve made several steps to change all that, and who knows, I just might keep track of the whole process in here.

What steps do you ask? well, I’ve finished a couple of weeks ago a course on Events Production and Management. in the past couple of months I’ve been searching for a job in the field but because of the vast competition in the field (dozens of job seekers on one job offer) I couldn’t get any due to my lack in two advantage requierments: Major connections and Experience. without at least one of the two, it’s really hard out there and so, I was just on the verge to give up the search when an opportunity arrived and I got offered a job as a waitress in a very exclusive catering service which belongs to “de’Plus”, one of the biggest Productions & Enterteinment group, called “de’Plus Kitchen”. I decided to take the job because I can learn alot about the business, meet all the suppliers, places for events and most of all, climb up the ladder until I conquer the world!!!

… ok ok, not the world, I’ll settle with conquering the “Stoa” in Kibbutz Ga’ash where I’m going to work most of the time.

Tomorrow’s my first day as a waitress, I hope I won’t blow it.

I’m very excited about this. It’s a huge change from everything I’ve done in the past. up until last week I was working in a Hitech company, infront of the computer, 9 hrs a day, 5 days a week, So, i’m really excited about starting to work with people, on constant motion.

Can you hear the butterfly Royal Rumble going on in my stomach???
